This bike has been rebuilt back to a basically stock configuration. There are a few custom touches. For example, the tank badges are recessed into cups that were fabricated and welded into holes cut in the tank. The idea was to give the tank some three dimensional appeal. Another example of a custom touch is the gear shift lever. The stock lever could not be adjusted to shift easily without hitting the foot peg mount. So a new lever was made out of aluminum with curves in just the right places to clear the foot peg. And, of course, a matching brake pedal was made out of steel. I never did like the stamped steel timing covers, so a machined cover was carved out of a chunk of aluminum. My favorite modification is the machined choke knob and linkage which replaced the crappy short cable. Also covers were machined to cover the voids in the front wheel behind the brake disks.
